In celebration of this anniversary, the Runehammer fan community invites you to join in an unprecedented online gaming event—RuneJammer 2023—an entire week of ICRPG play opportunities and live workshops, with over 50 game sessions offered by our fantastic community contributors.
It is our sincere pleasure to feature EZD6 creator and tabletop gaming legend DM Scotty as a Special Guest GM for a number of RuneJammer sessions.
RuneJammer 2023 welcomes complete newcomers to the RPG hobby as well as gamers of any experience level who want to discover ICRPG’s fast, flexible system, and it features all five adventure settings included in Master Edition—Alfheim, Warp Shell, Ghost Mountain, Blood and Snow, and Vigilante City—offering a wide variety of unique roleplaying adventures presented the Runehammer way.

What’s the cost to play?
All RuneJammer sessions are completely free to play.
How do I join a Runejammer game?
We’re running the game thru Discord so you’ll need a Discord account. We’ve linked to a helpful guide below if you’re unfamiliar with Discord. After that just click on the ICRPG Community Discord link above.
Getting started with DiscordHow does registration work?
You’ll be able to find event postings for each event on the ICRPG Community Discord and sign up there. If the session is full, you’ll be put on a waitlist and will be notified should someone drop out. Worse case – just ask the event hosts, and they’ll help you out.
What is the Code of Conduct for the events?
The event organizers strive to create a safe and enjoyable space for all participants. Your session’s Game Master (GM) is solely responsible for session content, presentation, and oversight of play during each game session. Please read your session description, follow all GM guidelines for participation, and contact your GM prior to game day for questions, concerns, and requests regarding session content and RPG safety issues.
In short, all sessions should follow Wheaton’s Law: “Don’t be a Dick.”
What languages will games be in?
Sessions will be in English, primarily, but that is at the discretion of the players and the GM.
What should I do if I can’t attend a game I’ve signed up for?
Go onto the server and click decline on the event registration. Please don’t just decline/remove the event from your calendar as that won’t tell the GM you’re not able to play.
Where can I get event updates?
Discord’s ICRPG Community server will be the primary source of event updates. Look for the Runejammer Category which has the “rj-” channels.
What if I’ve never played ICRPG before?
Have no fear! Our event GMs can provide you with a pre-generated character or they can work to help create your own character.
What do I need to play?
A reliable internet connection, and a copy of the Quickstart PDF. Pencil and paper may also be helpful, or the ability to use fillable PDFs.
As all games are played using Discord video and audio, you’ll need a microphone and a place free of background noises. Headphones are encouraged. Video cameras are optional.
What should I do if I have a concern about another attendee’s or GM’s behavior?
If you have a problem with a player during a game, please send a Discord direct message to the session GM, and they’ll take care of it.
If you have a problem with a GM during a game, please feel free to abandon the game. No one should be expected to suffer discomfort of any kind while playing a game.
Please contact an event organizer (filbot3 or s5photog on Discord) or use THIS ANONYMOUS FORM to report the details of the situation so that we can ensure this problem doesn’t happen again.
Will sessions be recorded or streamed?
By default sessions will not be recorded or streamed, but if there is a concern check with the session GM to verify.
I see games/settings that aren’t in Master Edition, does that change what I need to have? You said this was free.
To help show the breadth of ICRPG some of our GMs will be featuring material beyond ICRPG Master Edition and in this case, the GM will provide setting information for character generation or pre-generated characters for you to use as well as explaining what has changed from ICRPG Master Edition.
